For our customer Jamie, reliable transportation is crucial for everything from getting her kids to doctor and therapy appointments to having fun togethers as a family and enjoying summer.
“Having a reliable vehicle to get to do some fun things as a family has brought us closer together, and it’s made me a better mom for sure.”
Jamie heard a griding sound from the brakes of her 2007 Honda Pilot and knew that she needed to have service done to keep the kids, herself, and others safe. She brought the Honda to The Lift Garage for one of our free inspections.
She was surprised after The Lift Garage’s inspection how much work needed to be done on the vehicle, yet she was relieved to find that final cost would be affordable for her.
“The Lift Garage is a huge asset to the community, especially the poor community, so thank you.”
Without these repairs from The Lift, Jamie would have been forced to drive her car less and less as it became unsafe—she knows, as she’s been in that position before.
At Jamie’s first visit to The Lift Garage, our experienced mechanics let Jamie know that the vehicle she drove at that time was unsafe to have on the roads, and no amount of work The Lift Garage did on the vehicle would make it safe. Jamie was heartbroken, and she vowed never to have her children in the car again.
From then on, she only used the car when she had no other options, until one day the steering knuckle failed, causing Jamie to lose control of the vehicle. Thanks to The Lift Garage’s advice, Jamie’s kids weren’t in the vehicle with her—something she believes saved their lives.
Thank you to all of our supporters for your generosity, which makes car repairs like these possible! We are so grateful.
