For Ron, his why is to help single mothers.
“Each of us knows someone who’s had hard times. My sister is one of them. A single mother herself, she needed a car for work, getting her kids to school, interviews, and more. She was fortunate to have her siblings to help. The fact that so many single mothers depend on The Lift was all I needed to hear.”
Back in 2022, Ron visited us for the first time to drop off a donation from work. Ron had never heard of The Lift Garage before but, after that visit, he immediately reached out to volunteer with us! Since then, Ron has helped us build furniture, served breakfast at our annual fundraiser, and continues to advocate for us at his employer, Old National Bank (which recently gave us a $15,000 donation!).
