Become a Sustainer

Sustaining donors have a huge impact on our work at The Lift Garage! By becoming a sustainer, you help ensure The Lift Garage remains a stable part of our community that our customers can count on. Sustainers also help us plan for the future and growth. Many of our Sustainers also find it’s easier to budget their generosity by setting up a monthly, quarterly, or annual gift!

Legacy & Planned Giving

We share your commitment to low-cost, quality car repair. Because of this shared commitment we invite you to leave a lasting legacy by gifting a percentage of your estate to The Lift Garage.

Host a Supply Drive

The Lift Garage is looking for folks to support our community by hosting supply drives to gather personal care items! We stock our lobby bathroom with these items for community members as part of our commitment to hospitality, respect, and dignity.

In-Kind Donation

On occasion we will accept various in-kind donations. If you have something you think we might find useful, please reach out to Jesi at jesi@theliftgarage.org so we can have the information required to make a decision about your gift.

Please do not stop by unannounced as it is unlikely we’ll be able to help you without a pre-set appointment.

Host a Houseparty

Do you find yourself telling others about low-cost car repair through The Lift Garage? Let’s make an event out of your sharing spirit! We love doing Houseparties in support of low-cost car repair, but we can’t do it without hosts like you!

  • You are the host, so it can look like however you want it to. Grilling in your backyard? Root beer floats? A dinner party? Cocktail hour? A patio at a brewery? A park? Feel free to get creative and think outside the box!
  • These can be any time during the year!
  • The event would be about 1.5 to 2 hours in length.
  • The Lift will reimburse you up to $100 for your event needs (such as food, beverages, etc)
  • One or two staff members will attend your gathering and share stories about customers who get their cars repaired at The Lift. We’ll also invite your guests to make a financial donation.
  • We ask that you pick the location and invite your guests! As long as there is space, you can invite as many guests as you like.
  • Please work with The Lift Garage team to pick the date and time of the event.
  • We also ask that you supply any beverages, snacks, or food.
  • Ideally you’d also speak at the event and share what it is that compels you to support low-cost car repair. What connects you to this mission?

Invite us to speak

We love being invited to speak at your events! We have experience speaking at churches, book clubs, workplaces, car clubs, and more. We’d love to share about The Lift with your community, please reach out and invite us!

Send us recent car repair paperwork

We are looking for ways to compare our rates to the market rate and the best way to do that is with your help! Could you send us paperwork from your recent repair? This would be such a big help for us. You can redact any personal or identifying information before sending it in. We’ll take it in whatever format is best for you: a copy, a photo, or a scan/email. Thank you for your help!
