Stephanie and her husband, Scott, found out about The Lift Garage when her brother, Charlie, started work in our shop. According to Stephanie, “He probably always would have been a person interested in combining his mechanical knowledge with social work.”
They became devoted supporters, and they were truly inspired by our mission, in addition to wanting to support Charlie.
“The Lift Garage has an awesome mission to support people who otherwise would have no options regarding their transportation to work or elsewhere,” Stephanie told us.
Ultimately, they decided to make the most lasting commitment possible to our mission to provide low-cost car repair: they included The Lift Garage in their estate plans.
“We believe that transportation for basic things is critical—to get to work & keep a job, to pick up children, to go grocery shopping, to get to doctors appointments and so on. All of these things are items that people who have more take for granted. So we would like to make a difference for people now and in the future.”
If you’re interested in joining Stephanie in making a lasting commitment to The Lift Garage, we would be honored for you to support The Lift Garage in your estate plans.
